Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has continued his fine scoring form for Bursaspor since arriving in the summer transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
Iheanacho joined the Turkish TFF First League outfit on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Celtic. Coming off an impressive end to the season in Scotland, he had been widely expected to sign a permanent deal there. However, Bursaspor swooped in with a lucrative offer to secure his signature.
The Nigerian forward has swiftly repaid the club’s faith, finding the net in all six of their opening league fixtures. He has now tallied eight goals and two assists across his first six appearances of the campaign.
His prolific output has propelled Bursaspor to second in the standings, trailing league leaders Batman Petrolspor by just a single point.
His strike against Manisa on Monday was particularly sublime. He collected the ball outside the penalty area, drove toward the edge of the box before unleashing a precise low curler into the bottom corner.

Beyond securing points, that strike marked a major milestone in Iheanacho’s career.
