Edo Queens interim head coach Kennedy Boboye says his players are mentally ready to face USFA FC in the semi-finals of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU-B qualifiers, www.aclsports.com reports.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s clash, Boboye said his players are mentally ready and positive for the semi-final.

He added that, irrespective of the home support USFA are expected to enjoy, the NWFL champions are physically and psychologically ready to give their opponents a run for their money.

Boboye also said the team has put the loss to Ampem Darkoa Ladies in their final Group B game behind them and is ready to fight for what they want in Burkina Faso.

The semi-final is scheduled for September 2 at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou, with kick-off set for 4pm.

Edo Queens, who won the WAFU-B title in 2024, will be looking to reach the final again and take another step towards a return to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
