The Hermosillo-born pioneer of corridos tumbados, the subgenre that fused traditional Mexican corridos with trap and hip-hop, has released his latest project, Natanael Cano Vol. 1, on August 28, 2026, via Rancho Humilde and Sony Music Latin . The 15-track album is a return to the sound that launched his career, a statement that the artist who has spent years pushing the boundaries of the genre is still the one defining its direction . The album features collaborations with Gabito Ballesteros, Adriel Favela, Javier Rosas, and Dan Sánchez, and includes two covers of romantic classics: Cristian Castro’s “Por Amarte Así” and Jeanette’s “Frente a Frente” .

“Mar Azul” is the album’s focus track .
