Samsung is planning to bring at least one new camera feature to the Galaxy S25 Ultra with the One UI 9.0 update. The device is set to get the Virtual Reflector feature. Note that earlier this year, the same feature was originally introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Furthermore, Tipster Fahad Ali Javed, who recently managed to flash an internal One UI 9.0 build onto a Galaxy S25 Ultra, has also discovered that the device’s Expert RAW camera app includes the Virtual Reflector tool. This feature has been fashioned to improve portrait shots. This is achieved by allowing users to adjust the direction as well as intensity of lighting on a subject.
However, the virtual tool helps improve images captured in uneven lighting conditions by emulating a professional photographer’s physical reflector used with studio lights.
Then again, when accessed within the Expert RAW app, the Virtual Reflector enables users to fine-tune the virtual light’s colour (like golden or silver), adjust the reflectance strength, and exactly control the angle of the light using an intuitive circular orb interface as well.
