Premier League fans have selected their best XI from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with several top-flight stars earning recognition for their outstanding performances on the global stage.

According to a post on EPL’s website on Thursday, the team was chosen through a worldwide fan vote, with supporters selecting from a shortlist of 101 Premier League players who featured in the tournament.

Manchester City midfielder Rodri was named among the standout players after leading Spain to their second World Cup title and winning the Golden Ball award as the tournament’s best player. The Spaniard delivered a commanding performance throughout the competition, setting a passing record while ranking highly for tackles and distance covered.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford secured his place in the team after becoming England’s most-capped men’s goalkeeper in World Cup history. He made 19 saves during the tournament, including a crucial display against co-hosts Mexico in the round of 16.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro was selected at right-back following an impressive campaign with Spain. He scored twice, created several chances and played a key role in Spain’s run to the final.

Argentina defenders Cristian Romero and Lisandro Martinez formed the centre-back partnership. Romero helped Argentina reach a second consecutive World Cup final, while Martinez impressed with his defensive contributions and attacking impact during the knockout stages.

England defender Djed Spence completed the defence after a breakthrough tournament. The Tottenham player played an important role in England’s third-place finish, producing strong performances in both attack and defence.
