Aliko Dangote’s family office is preparing for a broader role in managing the billionaire’s business interests, with the Dubai-based operation expected to become more visible from the first quarter of 2027.
The family office, overseen by Halima Dangote, daughter of Aliko Dangote, is being developed as an investment, wealth-management, governance and succession-planning hub for the family’s businesses and assets. The initiative reflects a shift from managing wealth primarily around individual businesses to building an institutional structure capable of preserving the empire across generations.
Halima Dangote said the office has been years in the making and will take on a prominent role from early next year. Its responsibilities are expected to include capital management, investments, governance and philanthropy, while helping prepare the family’s holdings for succession.
