During Apple’s September 9 event, the brand will unveil its first foldable iPhone. According to rumours, it’ll be known as the iPhone Ultra.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed details of the device’s features as well as pricing during an interview with Tom’s Guide.
Gurman adds that there’s the possibility that the upcoming iPhone Ultra will support MagSafe charging. Meanwhile, leaked renders as well as dummy units don’t show the familiar magnetic ring. However, Gurman believes Apple can add the feature having been able to fit MagSafe into the slim iPhone Air.
Rumours further reveal the iPhone Ultra will measure just 4.5mm thick when unfolded. It’s expected to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.8-inch flexible inner display with a crease that is reportedly slightly less noticeable than the one on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8.
Additionally, the upcoming iPhone Ultra will come with a dual-rear camera setup, Apple’s latest chipset and modem, and a durable hinge.
