Access Holdings’ H1 scorecard enters final regulatory phase

Access Holdings Plc has moved closer to releasing its audited half-year financial results after its board approved the group’s interim consolidated and separate financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2026.

The board approved the accounts at a meeting held on August 27, according to a corporate disclosure by the financial services group.

The results will now proceed through the required regulatory process, including approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria, before they are released to the investing public through the Nigerian Exchange Limited.

The development sets the stage for investors and shareholders to gain a clearer view of Access Holdings’ financial performance in the first half of 2026, including the performance of its expanding banking and non-banking businesses across Africa and international markets.

Access Holdings said the audited financial statements would be published through the NGX after receiving the CBN’s approval and subsequently made available to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders through the group’s established communication channels.

The pending release comes at a time when investors are closely monitoring the performance of Nigeria’s financial institutions amid changes in interest rates, foreign exchange conditions and the broader regulatory environment.

Access Holdings has been pursuing a strategy of building a more diversified financial services group, with operations spanning banking and other financial services across African and international markets.

The company said the approval process reflected its commitment to corporate governance, regulatory compliance and transparent engagement with stakeholders.
