There have been complaints from Galaxy S26 Ultra users regarding the red tint showing on the displays of their phones. These complaints started last month, and the tech giant, Samsung, acknowledged the issue. The company assured them it would come up with a fix with a software update this month.

It seems the brand has finally addressed the issue, having released a software update for the Galaxy S26 series in its home country, South Korea. The update comes with the August 2026 security patch, and the new firmware also includes a fix for the red tint issue with the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s display.

Furthermore, Samsung issued a notice in the Samsung Members app in South Korea, stating it’ll fix the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s display red tint issue with a software update that is being rolled out.

It’s expected that in the next few hours, Samsung will release the update in other regions.
