Skims Taps Kim Schraub and Erin Magee for Key Creative Roles

Skims is expanding its creative leadership team with two newly created executive positions, promoting longtime creative director Kim Schraub to chief brand officer and appointing Erin Magee as chief design officer. The moves give the rapidly growing intimates and lifestyle brand separate leadership across its overall brand identity and product design as it continues expanding into new categories and international markets.

The appointments mark an important change to the creative structure of Skims, which was cofounded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede in 2019. Schraub has been with the company since its earliest days, helping establish the visual identity that has become closely associated with the brand. Magee, meanwhile, joins after serving as chief creative officer at Supreme, bringing experience across fashion, product development and streetwear.

Schraub will take on a broader role as chief brand officer, overseeing how Skims presents itself across its various consumer touchpoints. Her responsibilities will include retail, campaigns, collaborations and storytelling, in addition to continuing to shape the overall creative direction of the business.

The new position builds on Schraub’s work as Skims’ creative director since 2019. She has played a central role in developing the company’s design and creative vision across product, packaging and campaigns since its inception.
