Inside 21-storey Ikoyi tower betting on luxury, sustainable living

A new 21-storey luxury residential tower rising in the heart of Ikoyi is aiming to set a new benchmark for high-rise development in Lagos, with developers promising world-class amenities, strong safety standards and environmentally friendly infrastructure.

The new benchmark has become necessary as demand for premium homes continues to grow.

Located on Alexander Road, the development called ‘16 Alexander Tower’ is being developed on a 4,276-square-metre site and is expected to be completed on or before December 31, 2027.

During a facility tour organised for members of the Property and Environment Writers Association of Nigeria (PEWAN), project managers said the development has been designed to combine luxury living with long-term structural integrity, sustainability and efficient use of space.

“It is at this stage of the development that every eye must be involved to ensure that viability and rental appreciation of the units are not compromised, so that any person making a good and wise investment decision will be satisfied,” said M.I. Okoro, marketing and real estate consultant for the project.

According to him, the project has been structured to inspire confidence among buyers by placing safety, quality construction and transparency at the centre of its development.
