Arsenal’s value rose by 23% to €4.9 billion, (about N7.84 trillion), before the club won its first Premier League title in 22 years.
This is according to Football Benchmark’s latest ranking of European football club valuations, which showed that the North London club moved up two places to fifth.
The valuation was based on financial data from the 2024/2025 season and does not include the expected revenue boost from Arsenal’s 2025/2026 Premier League title win.
The club is also set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
What the data is saying
According to Football Benchmark, Arsenal with a €4.9 billion valuation comes behind Manchester United, valued at €5.1 billion. The valuation brings Arsenal closer to the financial level traditionally occupied by Manchester United and Manchester City.
Manchester United has fallen outside the top three for the first time since Football Benchmark began compiling the rankings in 2016.
- Real Madrid remains Europe’s most valuable football club, with its enterprise value rising by more than 20% to €7.7 billion.
- Barcelona is valued at €5.9 billion, highlighting the financial gap between the two La Liga rivals.
- Arsenal’s valuation growth was supported by broad-based revenue gains, especially from commercial and other income streams.
Football Benchmark also noted that Arsenal’s squad value increased by €246 million, further supporting the club’s rise in the valuation table.
