Willy Chavarria x Adidas Megaride AG Bubblegum Releases August

Willy Chavarria and Adidas are not done with the Megaride AG sneakers yet. The silhouette first appeared on Chavarria’s theatrically inspired FW26 runway show in January and launched commercially in Black and Cream colorways at the start of summer. Now a third colorway is incoming, and it is the boldest of the three.

The Bubblegum variant arrives in baby pink, a color that treats the shoe’s architectural outsole as a primary visual statement and lets everything above it work in service of that foundation. It drops August 7 through Adidas’ webstore and select retailers.

The Megaride AG’s construction is consistent across all three colorways: layered mesh upper with translucent TPU overlays, suede panels at the heel and toe, and a red Chavarria wordmark positioned vertically on the tongue. Matching logo tags on the lacing system repeat the branding with the same restraint that Chavarria applies across his Adidas work generally, visible enough to read as a considered design choice, not so prominent that the branding overtakes the shoe.

The Bubblegum colorway’s most distinctive quality is how the baby pink outsole recontextualizes that construction. On the Black variant, the red foam sole flashes feel like a sharp visual interruption. On the Cream, the sole tread is a faint red suggestion. On the Bubblegum, the entire outsole in baby pink turns the shoe’s most architecturally interesting element into its loudest color statement.
