Still high and faded.
I think it is totally cute and without a doubt also eccentric, talk about having fun with some hair! With all that said I am certainly not surprised, what makes Erykah’s style special is that it is never predictable, this 90’s fade is a perfect example of that.
The style icon considers herself an artist, remember when she said
I am an Artist and I am sensitive about my ish
She does not give a flying flip about what standards of beauty dictates, she knows how beautiful she is, she knows her style potential and she does her thing. Remaining in a small box can be very stifling so if we could take one lesson from Erykah, it would be to have as much fun as we can with our hair and personal style, not letting our own personal hang-ups take away from that. If you want to cut your hair and wear a pixie cut, do it, hair grows!
