Head coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse has called up 62 players to the Golden Eaglets’ camp as Nigeria’s U17 team begins screening and preparations for this year’s WAFU B U17 Championship, www.aclsports.com reports.
The players have been instructed to report to camp in Abuja, where Eboboritse, alongside his assistants Kalli Mohammed Kachalla and Abdullahi Isa, will begin the demanding process of assembling another world title-winning squad. However, the Eaglets need to qualify for the U17 AFCON first before thinking of a return to the World Stage again.
The list is made up of five goalkeepers, 18 defenders, 20 midfielders and 19 forwards.
This year’s WAFU B U17 Championship will take place in the month of October.
