A lady has recounted her traumatic experience after operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly raided a lodge in Oko, Anambra State, around 4 a.m. on Saturday.
According to her, the officers allegedly jumped over the fence and began forcing their way into rooms, leaving residents terrified.
“They jumped over the fence. I thought they were armed robbers because they were breaking down doors. I was so scared. They forced their way into my room while I was n@ked.”
She claimed that the operatives took away all the young men they found at the lodge while leaving the women behind. Videos from the scene showing damaged doors and frightened residents have since gone viral, sparking widespread reactions online.
