When Joel Dim first opened its flagship in Port Harcourt, it introduced more than a retail
destination. It established a home for a fashion house determined to give the city a design
language of its own.

Now, following an extensive redesign, the house has reopened its flagship at Fabicon Plaza,
Okuru Ama Road, off Peter Odili Road, unveiling a space that reflects not only how the brand
has evolved, but where it believes Port Harcourt’s place in global fashion is headed.
The reopening marks a defining chapter for founder and Creative Director, Dim Chigozie Joel,

whose ambition has always extended beyond clothing. While Port Harcourt has long shaped
conversations through music, art and culture, he believes its contribution to fashion is only
beginning to be written.

“We’ve always believed Port Harcourt deserved a fashion house it could proudly call its own.

Inside, the atmosphere is intentionally restrained. Walnut finishes, warm amber lighting and
thoughtfully composed displays replace the visual excess often associated with contemporary
retail. Every garment is given room to breathe, inviting visitors to engage with the collection
deliberately rather than hurriedly.

The ground floor balances contemporary tailoring with quiet moments of reflection. A private
fitting room offers a more intimate bespoke experience, while archival pieces—including a
vintage sewing machine—stand as understated reminders of the craftsmanship that continues to define every Joel Dim collection.
