Jide Awobona expresses concerns over kissing roles

Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has spoken up regarding kissing scenes in movies, stating that there are health risks associated with kissing without proper medical checks on cast members.

The actor, while speaking during an interview with Yanga FM, expressed his concerns over such intimate roles, revealing that he once had to kiss an unnamed actress with bad breath while filming.

Awobona explained that he gets scared not to contact infections or diseases while kissing on set, adding that some actors and actresses neglect their oral health.

“You don act with someone with mouth odor?,” the interviewer asked.

“Yes, I have done it. But if you get that kind funny odor, I go japa oo. I no fit kiss you. Yes, I don act with somebody wey get mouth odor. And I go one place go wash my mouth. And the person con see me. I just dey pray make person no go contact something because I don tire,” the actor revealed.
