Kelela has released the music video for “the bridge,” a stunning collaboration with PinkPantheress that serves as the emotional centerpiece of her new album, new avatar . The song is the duo’s second collaboration, following Kelela’s appearance on PinkPantheress’ Heaven Knows track “Bury Me” .

Kelela Mizanekristos, known mononymously as Kelela, is an American singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. She emerged in the early 2010s as a defining voice in alternative R&B, with her landmark 2013 mixtape Cut 4 Me and acclaimed albums Take Me Apart (2017) and Raven (2023). PinkPantheress is a British singer-songwriter and producer from Bath, England. She rose to prominence in 2021 with viral hits like “Pain” and “Break It Off,” and has been recognized as a singular voice in global pop music . This spring, she became the first woman to win a BRIT Award for Producer of the Year .
