Brooklyn, NY – August 3, 2026 – On a weekend that tested whether a legendary Ibiza brand could translate its mythology to Brooklyn, Pacha New York passed with flying colors. The sold-out back-to-back shows from Ukrainian duo ARTBAT and Brazilian superstar Alok proved the venue has found its footing in its new East Williamsburg home.
The venue, which reopened in June under new operators after the former Brooklyn Mirage was mired in bankruptcy and permitting issues throughout 2025 , has quickly established itself as a major player in the city’s nightlife scene. The $24 million investment in enhancements and a commitment to community programming has helped rebuild trust with local audiences after the Mirage’s turbulent final years.
Friday night belonged to ARTBAT, the Ukrainian duo formed in 2014 who have become synonymous with the emotionally charged, melodic techno sound that fills large rooms . Their set, which ran late into the night, shifted between tech-house and progressive house, a blend that has made them festival mainstays and earned them a spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list . It was a homecoming of sorts—the duo have collaborated with Alok themselves, releasing “Truth, Peace, Love, Acid” in 2025 . They brought that signature, driving energy to the open-air stage, keeping the packed crowd locked in until the early hours.
