APC’s Sharafadeen uges unity to secure victory in 2027 Oyo polls

Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli,APC candidate,has urged party faithful to embrace all former primary election contenders as vital partners rather than adversaries. He framed intra-party unity as the cornerstone for victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Speaking to party supporters and key stakeholders during a strategy meeting in Ibadan, Alli emphasized that the internal contest for the party’s nomination was a healthy democratic process that has now concluded. He noted that the primary objective must shift entirely toward consolidating strength, bridging internal divides, and building a formidable coalition capable of reclaiming the governorship seat in Oyo State.

The APC candidate stressed that every aspirant who participated in the primaries possesses significant political influence and a dedicated base of supporters whose contributions are indispensable to a successful general election campaign. He cautioned members against divisive rhetoric or actions that could alienate former opponents, urging party leadership at all levels to initiate immediate reconciliation efforts. According to Alli, viewing fellow party members as opponents undermines the collective goal and plays into the hands of political rivals.
