313 Warriors stunned Kano Pillars 62-61 with a buzzer-beater on Day 2 of the 2026 Nigeria Premier Basketball League Final 8 playoffs on Monday, www.aclsports.com reports.

At the Basketball Stadium in Port Harcourt, 313 Warriors secured their second straight win after holding off Kano Pillars in a dramatic finish. Kano Pillars were just seconds away from victory when 313 Warriors hit a stunning three-pointer at the buzzer to snatch the game. The result handed Kano Pillars their second consecutive defeat at the Final 8.

Defending champions Maktown Flyers narrowly defeated Hoops & Reads 72-70 in a nervy but thrilling encounter to remain unbeaten in their title defence. The holders were pushed all the way by the Lagos side but held on for their second win of the playoffs, with Mohamed Keita leading the way with 23 points, four assists, three steals and six three-pointers.

Gboko City Chiefs recorded their first win of the Final 8 after overcoming Aso Sky Hawks 83-80 in a closely contested game. Oliver Hampton was instrumental in the victory, finishing with 18 points, three rebounds and two assists as the Chiefs secured their first win of the playoffs.

Hosts Rivers Hoopers completed Day 2 with a convincing 69-50 victory over Lagos Raptors to make it two wins from two games. The Kingsmen produced another dominant display on home court, with Offia Abel and Buchi Nwaiwu both contributing 10 points to help the Hoopers maintain their perfect start.
