Former Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen will lead the Super Falcons for their upcoming 2028 Olympics double-header against Comoros, Soccernet.ng reports.

According to reports from Nigerian journalist Mike The Pundit, the NFF—led by General Secretary Emmanuel Ikpeme—has decided that Eguavoen, who has served as the technical director of the NFF, will lead the Super Falcons into battle against Comoros next month.

For nearly two decades, Eguavoen has served as the football federation’s handyman in various capacities. He has frequently stepped in as interim coach whenever a vacancy arose in the Super Eagles dugout. Now, however, he will take the reins of the Super Falcons.
