Oxano Capital, a Netherlands-based investment firm, has officially announced a strategic financial investment in Mujuni Ventures, a rapidly growing Ugandan dairy enterprise. The capital injection is designed to rapidly scale the company’s domestic footprint and modernize its operational supply chain.

From Aggregation to Value Addition

Founded in 2019 by entrepreneur Dickson Mujuni, the company originally launched as a localized milk aggregation business, collecting raw milk from regional farmers. Over the last several years, Mujuni Ventures has successfully climbed the agricultural value chain, transitioning from a simple aggregator into a full-scale dairy processor and distributor.

Today, the company’s core focus is on value-added consumer goods, anchored by its flagship product line, Too GooD Yogurt, alongside a broader portfolio of everyday dairy products.

Strategic Use of Capital: Scaling the Supply Chain

According to Oxano Capital, the new investment is specifically earmarked to dismantle the operational bottlenecks that often restrict growing agricultural enterprises in East Africa. The funds will be deployed across three primary pillars:

• Expanding Processing Capacity: Upgrading manufacturing facilities and equipment to handle significantly larger volumes of raw milk, allowing the company to meet growing consumer demand and potentially diversify its product offerings.
