Samsung is working on Android 17-based One UI 9 for many Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the brand has released the One UI 9 beta only for the Galaxy S26 series.
As Samsung is yet to reveal when it will expand the One UI 9 beta programme to more devices, there’s the likelihood that the Korean brand will release One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A56 as well, before rolling out the stable update.
This is because the One UI 9 beta build, with firmware A356NKSUAZZH5, for the Galaxy A35 and the One UI 9 beta build, with firmware A566SKSU9ZZHH for the Galaxy A56, have surfaced on Samsung’s test servers in Korea. Also, a One UI 9 beta forum for the Galaxy A56 on Samsung Community in India has been created by the company.

However, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, and the Galaxy S26 FE all launched with One UI 9, and are the only smartphones running stable One UI 9.
The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, as well as Galaxy S26 Ultra have received seven One UI 9 beta updates so far. There’s the possibility that in weeks to come, they’ll receive stable One UI 9. After that, Samsung will likely open the One UI 9 beta programme for the Galaxy S25 series and other eligible smartphones.
