Chrome remains one of the defining nail trends of 2026, but the look has moved beyond traditional mirror-silver nails.
Soft chrome uses a sheer, nude, or milky base underneath a subtle metallic finish.
On the other hand, pearl, champagne, and rose-gold versions offer a bolder appearance, while cobalt, emerald, pink, silver, and gunmetal create stronger statement manicures.
You can also apply chrome selectively to French tips, ombré designs, or individual accent nails.
According to nail technicians, milky white with pearl chrome is a recommended combination for weddings, formal occasions, and everyday wear.
