The Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration, a historic television special that brought together the biggest assembly of Disney Princess stars ever, made the magical moment possible. Filmed at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, the special debuted on Disney+ and ABC on August 16, 2026. It also marked the official beginning of World Princess Week, a celebration of the cherished princess legacy that brought together celebrities from Disney animation, live-action, theater, and music.

For Bailey, who played Ariel in Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid, the aqua-toned gown carried an especially fitting sense of storytelling. Every element of Halle Bailey’s turquoise outfit, from the liquid-like dress and ocean-colored gemstones to the mermaid-inspired makeup and cascading locs, extended the story in a glamorous new direction.
