Norda and Black Diamond Debut the 000 Trail Runner

Black Diamond Equipment has officially joined forces with Montreal-based footwear innovator Norda in their first-ever collaboration. This monumental alliance merges elite mountaineering expertise with state-of-the-art trail-running design to completely redefine high-alpine movement for serious endurance athletes. The centerpiece of this historic launch is the highly anticipated Norda 000 trail running shoe.

This brand-new silhouette acts as a hybrid masterpiece, blending legendary durability with elite agility. Furthermore, the innovative collection debuts alongside an array of technical equipment and apparel made to withstand the most demanding, high-altitude, rugged environments.

A Hybrid Masterpiece for High Altitude

The technical foundation of the Norda 000 is an intentional, performance-driven hybrid structure. To create this model, designers carefully combined the best attributes of Norda’s two flagship predecessors. Specifically, the shoe pairs the secure, close-fitting upper of the nimble 002 with the plush underfoot platform of the ultra-distance 001.

This specific combination directly answers long-standing consumer requests for a highly protective flagship shoe featuring a heavily padded heel collar. Because high-alpine scrambling demands full ankle protection, this design alteration provides critical security on shifting terrain.
