A remarkable price increase to the Mac and iPad lineup was introduced in June, as a result of the unbearable memory chip price increase. Rumours have it that the situation will continue this year.

According to an earlier report, all iPhones from the 18 series will cost $100 more than their predecessors. A latest report from a reputable source has confirmed the earlier claims from other tipsters. The pressure is going to Apple to act and pass some of the cost to consumers. This is as a result of the increasing RAM and NAND chip prices.

Moreover, some people who are conversant with the issue stated that Apple was trying to avoid a price hike and absorb the cost, and somehow, it couldn’t sustain its slim profit margins anymore; thus, there was a $100 increase on all iPhone 18 prices. This being the case, Apple can share the cost with its consumers. And this can be done without outpricing the competition like Samsung. Meanwhile, other smartphone manufacturers like Samsung, Google, et cetera, have all increased their prices.

The iPhone 18 Pro may begin at $1,199, which is still within the competitors’ price bracket.
