The CAPIS group, a retail venture and investment holding company, has set up a N5bn endowment fund to help development of private schools in the south-south.
The fund which was unveiled Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Woji area of Port Harcourt, was the highlight of a partnership with the south-south chapter of the National Association proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS).
CAPIS Limited (Capital Portfolio & Investment Systems Limited) is indicated as a retail venture capital, sustainable financing, and investment holding company. It is located at Wing A, La Trinity Mall, G.U. Ake Road, Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Unveiling the endowment fund at an event in Port Harcourt, Paul Adonis Peters, the Managing Director/CEO, said the company tried to ask and answer one key question, what happens after schooling?

“What happens when knowledge meets the reality of limited opportunity? What happens when ambition encounters the absence of capital? What happens when talent has nowhere to grow? Ladies and gentlemen, that question is why we are here today. Because education should never end in frustration. Education should end in opportunity.”
