Apple’s iPhone X has now been added to the brand’s obsolete products list. This is happening nearly nine years after its launch. Also added to the obsolete products list is the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple normally adds products to the obsolete list more than 7 years after it stops its sale. Thus, there’s the possibility that Mac products will still be eligible for battery service for up to 10 years from the date they were sold last, provided the required parts are still available.
The iPhone X got its final software update with iOS 16.7.16. Then, the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro’s software support ended with macOS 15.7.7.
