Have you heard? Funke Akindele is officially getting ready for another December cinema run, and this one already has people talking. The actress and filmmaker has announced her new movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, which is set for a global cinema release on 11 December 2026 through FilmOne Entertainment.

According to the announcement, the story follows Esosa and three loyal women who will do everything they can to protect a young man’s future. Loyalty, courage, sacrifice, and family are right at the centre of the film, and knowing Funke, there will probably be a few emotional moments that will have people talking long after they leave the cinema.
Funke wrote, directed, and produced the film under the Funke Akindele Network, and the announcement visuals already give a glimpse of the world she is building. The cast appeared in a mix of tailored looks and structured traditional outfits, with styling by Zack Styling Luxury, costumes from Ola Reay and ASO Nigeria, and photography led by Deji Oluokun.
