Ask yourself a simple question.
When was the last time your manager heard about one of your achievements directly from you?
If the answer is, “I can’t remember,” you’re not alone.
Many women are uncomfortable talking about their success, worrying they’ll come across as arrogant or self-promotional. Yet those same achievements could be the very evidence needed when promotion decisions are being made.
Keeping a record of your wins isn’t boasting. It’s being prepared.
That successful project you led.
The client you retained.
The new process that saved your team hours every week.
Write it down.
Those aren’t just tasks. They’re proof of your impact.
Another career myth? That networking is only for extroverts.
In reality, networking is simply building genuine relationships with people who know your work and trust your judgement.
