Disney’s ‘Zombies’ Star Carla Jeffery Dead At 33

The entertainment community is mourning the loss of Carla Jeffery, the talented actress and voice performer best known for her role as Bree in Disney‘s popular musical movie trilogy Zombies. Jeffery passed away on Sept. 1, 2026, at the age of 33, according to a statement released by her management team, led by Carla Alexander, on Sept. 2.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffrey,” Alexander, Jeffery’s longtime manager, wrote in the statement announcing the heartbreaking news, “who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old.”

Jeffery’s passing marks the loss of a performer whose warmth, talent, and infectious spirit touched colleagues, audiences, and friends throughout a career that spanned more than two decades. Her cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.

Reflecting on the actress’s life and legacy, Alexander added:

“For more than 20 years,” the post continued, “we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.”

Born in Houston, Texas, Jeffery began acting at just 12 years old.
