Amina Ibrahim – Nigerian CEO Magazine

Amina Ibrahim is a Partner at Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie and Head of the firm’s Abuja office, where she coordinates the firm’s practice across Northern Nigeria. She advises multinational corporations, public institutions, government agencies, and private sector clients on corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, taxation, mining, data protection, intellectual property, and government relations.

With over 15 years of legal practice, Amina has advised on a broad range of regulatory, governance, investment, and policy matters across key sectors of the Nigerian economy. Her work includes providing counsel on compliance frameworks, corporate transactions, stakeholder engagement, and the interaction between legal requirements and public policy considerations.

Amina serves as a Commissioner of the Tax Appeal Tribunal, where she participates in the adjudication of tax disputes arising under Nigeria’s tax laws. She is also an Exco member of the Banking and Finance Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL). In addition to her legal practice, she serves on the boards of public and private sector organisations, advising on governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate oversight.

She holds an LL.B from Ahmadu Bello University and has undertaken specialised training in Islamic Banking and Finance at Nungu Business School, as well as Structuring Islamic Financial Products at Middlesex University, United Kingdom.

Her professional interests include taxation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, mining law, and the relationship between law, policy, and economic development.
