Galaxy Z Flip 6 gets August 2026 security update

Samsung has begun rolling out the August 2026 security patch to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The new update fixes 56 security issues found in the previous firmware. This makes the device more secure.

It’s currently available for the variant of the phone sold in South Korea, Samsung’s home country. The update is 402.05MB in size and has firmware version F741NKSS4DZH5.

It’s expected that in few days to come, Samsung will release the latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 update in more regions. To check the availability of the update in your region and for your phone, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
