Galatasaray reject €150m Al-Hilal bid, €50m salary for Osimhen

Galatasaray have reportedly rejected a €150 million offer from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, despite the Saudi club also offering the forward a whopping €50 million annual salary.

Al-Hilal intensified their pursuit of the 27-year-old after Galatasaray made it clear they had no intention of selling their star striker this summer.

According to reports from Fanatik and Türkiye Gazetesi, Al-Hilal initially approached Galatasaray with a €130 million valuation before increasing their offer to €150 million after the Turkish champions refused to consider Osimhen’s departure.

The Saudi club were also prepared to offer Osimhen a net annual salary of €50 million to lure him to the Saudi Pro League.

However, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek and the club’s board reportedly rejected the proposal and declined to enter formal negotiations with Al-Hilal.

Osimhen remains Arsenal target

The development comes as Arsenal continue to explore options to strengthen their attack before the summer transfer window closes.

Osimhen has emerged as a potential target for Mikel Arteta after the Gunners’ pursuit of Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez became increasingly difficult.

The Nigerian international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United among the clubs previously interested in signing him.
