Access Holdings Plc, Nigeria’s largest financial institution by total assets, has announced a potential delay in releasing its interim audited financial statements for the half-year period ended June 30, 2026.

In a regulatory disclosure filed with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) on August 14, 2026, Company Secretary Sunday Ekwochi stated that the delay stems from ongoing finalization of the audit process and the mandatory requirement to obtain primary regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) prior to public release.

“The Company has received The Exchange’s approval for an extension of time to file the Results on or before September 30, 2026, subject to receipt of the required regulatory approval,” Access Holdings said.
