Victor Osimhen kicked off the new Turkish Super Lig campaign with two goals, as he helped Galatasaray force newly promoted Corum to a 2-2 home draw on Friday, completesports.com reports.

Despite going into the contest as clear favourites, Galatasaray were on the verge of suffering a shock defeat against Corum, who already had a player sent off heading into the closing stages before Osimhen netted to rescue a point for the league champions.

After a difficult first half, Osimhen finally broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute to put Galatasaray 1-0 ahead.

But just six minutes after Osimhen’s goal Corum, playing in the Super Lig for the first time, equalised through Alexandros Kyziridis.

Then Corum went 2-1 up as Jesus Ramirez got on the score sheet just two after they had drew level.

Galatasaray capitialised on the numerical advantage and piled in the pressure and were rewarded in the 90th as Osimhen was on target again to force a 2-2 draw and a share of the points.
