Sometime late last year, I suddenly started breaking out and just couldn’t figure out why. Stopping the new products I was using and giving it time didn’t seem to help, so after consulting with my aesthetic doctor friend, we both decided to try Korean beauty products.
I talked about this and shared the products I decided to try out here. I’ll be sharing a before and after update and also what my skincare routine with these products looked like.

I got the products in mid-October and started using them immediately. After a few weeks, I noticed that most of the pimples I had were now smaller in size compared to the big ones I was battling with. Although I still had some new breakouts, it wasn’t as big or as bad as where I was coming from.
By the second week of November, I noticed that my face had improved a lot. The pimples I already had were clearing up and new ones had stopped popping up but now I had to deal with the hyperpigmentation left behind.
The hyperpigmentation was quite worrisome to me because I didn’t think they were clearing fast enough, but looking back at the pictures now and I realize how much progress my skin made in just a few months of starting my Korean skincare routine.

What was my skincare routine like?
I didn’t use strictly all Korean beauty products because I already had some products that were working just fine for me, but I’m pretty confident that these were also a game-changer.
