Innovation, culture take centre stage at Oryehglobal fashion event

A vibrant and highly successful fashion show lit up the city of Ibadan last weekend, drawing a large crowd of fashion enthusiasts and members of the public.

The event, held at the OABC School Hall, showcased a diverse range of creative designs from Oryehglobal (Bestol) clothing, reinforcing the brand’s growing influence in the local fashion scene. The show opened with a bold and energetic collection that immediately set the tone for the evening.

Models confidently graced the runway in outfits that seamlessly blended modern fashion trends with rich cultural influences, earning loud applause from an impressed audience.  Each segment offered something distinct, ranging from elegant, sophisticated pieces to edgy and innovative streetwear. Overall, the fashion show was widely regarded as a major success. It not only entertained but also underscored the importance of creativity, diversity, and innovation within the fashion industry.

Speaking, one of organisers,  Oluwadare Tope of Oryehglobal said they have already announced plans to make the show an annual event, with promises of even bigger and more exciting showcases in the years ahead.

He said, “This show is about giving young talents a platform to express themselves and be seen. Fashion is more than clothing; it is identity, culture, and creativity brought to life. We are committed to building a community where emerging designers can thrive and grow.”
