Every child is special and has the ability to do wonderful things. Being a responsible child does not mean that you must be perfect or never make mistakes. It simply means learning to do the right things, take care of yourself and others, and understand that your actions have consequences.
Responsibility begins with small things. It can be putting your toys away after playing, completing your homework, helping at home, or telling the truth when something goes wrong. These little actions may seem ordinary, but when children practise them every day, they grow into responsible young people.

They Listen to Their Parents and Elders
Responsible children understand that parents, guardians, and teachers are there to guide them. They listen when adults are speaking and try to understand instructions before rushing to do something else.
Imagine that your teacher gives the class an assignment. Instead of talking to your friend while the teacher is explaining, you pay attention. You listen carefully, ask questions when you do not understand, and then begin your work.
That is responsibility.
Good listening can also prevent mistakes. Sometimes, children hear only half of an instruction and start doing something completely different. Taking a few extra seconds to listen can save a lot of trouble later.
