Life Before #BBNaija: Chimsom Chuka Was a Pharmacist, Actor & Creative Agency Founder

When Big Brother Naija Season 11 kicked off, Chimsom Chuka (full name Chimsom Chuka–Okoli) made his intentions crystal clear from the very first frame: he came to bring authenticity, deliver unmatched humour, and enjoy every single bit of the ride. The 27-year-old from Anambra, currently based in Lagos, walked into Biggie’s house on premiere night and has not stopped making his presence felt since.

Before Big Brother Naija, Chimsom Chuka-Okoli was living a full life. A trained pharmacist who graduated from Madonna University, he also works as an actor and runs his own creative agency. He is the kind of person who does not fit into one box, and he made that clear from his very first introduction. “I’m a pharmacist, I’m an actor, I’m a creative director. I run a creative agency,” he said, before adding with complete confidence: “I don’t hustle, people. I don’t hustle. I’ve hustled. I’m not like you.” The house laughed. He meant it.

His reasons for joining the show were refreshingly straightforward: free food, free drinks, parties, and no bills for three months. “How far now?” he said. “It’s vibes all the way.” But underneath the easy confidence is someone who is actually very strategic.
