Are you relaxed, natural, texturized or texlaxed?

All Natural

What’s your story, how did you get to where you are?

I had been relaxing my hair for over 30 years… I began transitioning in July of 2012. I loved the thought of it, more than the look if it.

I had stringy hair at the ends of my little fro and I was trying to maintain a curl with the Ms. Jessie’s Curly Pudding…disastrous, to say the lest.

I did my ‘Big Chop’ October 2012 feeling LIBERATED, until it was styling time..WHAT style? I felt like a bald eagle..but as I read the many blogs/vblogs on maintaining natural hair, and exchanging hair woes and tips from maaaany others who have gone natural, I began to look at myself in a different way.

My best friend of hair products is Ms. Jessie’s curly Pudding, not surprising though, it didn’t work with the relaxed hair but it does wonders on my natural hair and I love love love it!

I love my curl pattern, the way it’s growing out, and just the way I look. I had it trimmed and shaped up in December so I’m still rocking a short do, however, I do plan on growing it out and styling it “PRETTY”!

What is your regimen at the moment?

I co-wash each week for the first three weeks of the month with Suave Keratin Infusion smoothing conditioner, and every 4th week of each month, I shampoo with Herbal Essences-Totally Twisted shampoo and deep condition with Organics- Olive Oil* Deep Conditioner*.

I’ve recently introduced Giovanni Eco Chic Technology Direct leave in Conditioner*. I use Creme of Nature ArganOil, Gloss and Shine Polisher for the finishing touch.

And your favorite product?

My favorite products at this time are…
